Commercial Council (CCC)
The Canadian Commercial Council of REALTORS® (CCC) of The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA), founded in 1994, represents commercial real estate specialists from Boards and Associations across Canada. The Council provides a strong interactive network for real estate practitioners who specialize in industrial commercial and investment real estate. This can include property management, office or industrial leasing and sales, commercial appraisal, shopping centre management, land development, recreation/resort properties, syndication, investment, finance or professional real estate consulting.

A Commercial REALTOR® who is a CCC member must abide by a high standard of professional conduct and a strict Code of Ethics, optimizing the performance and service the public has a right to expect. A commercial REALTOR® will know comparable prices, neighborhood trends and commercial market conditions.

Commercial REALTORS® have access to the Multiple Listing Service®, Canada's most powerful real estate marketing system. They also have access to post listings on ICX.CA, the national web site for commercial property listings in Canada. A commercial REALTOR® is also committed to ongoing education to increase competence and effectiveness in real estate trading.

Trust is a commercial REALTOR®'s most prized possession. They work hard to earn it, and even harder to keep it. Whether you're buying or selling, your commercial REALTOR® will keep you informed of developments in your transaction, and be there for you the moment you need help. From marketing, financing, selection and negotiation to pricing, inspection and closing, a commercial REALTOR® can offer you a wide range of expertise.

The mandate of the CCC is to provide a collective voice for commercial practitioners in Canada. The Council's key objectives are:

  • To represent the interests of the Council's membership to CREA.
  • To formulate recommendations to CREA on matters of public policy involving commercial issues.
  • To work in conjunction with CREA's Federal Affairs Committee in order to monitor and influence public policy dealing with commercial related issues.
  • To establish and foster professional expertise through educational activities and programs.
  • To provide strategic leadership for the delivery of commercial services.
  • To provide a strong interactive network for all commercial specialists.
  • To represent and promote the interests of the specialty designations in the investment, commercial and industrial segments of the real estate industry.
  • To promote to the public the expertise associated with membership in the Council.
