QA Test Analyst (Focused on UI & API)

We are looking for a motivated QA Test Analyst to join our talented and multi-skilled team of QAs!

What you will do:

  • Work within agile team to estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Participate in daily standups, planning, grooming, and retrospective meetings
  • Review acceptance criteria, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Create, maintain and execute comprehensive test strategies and test cases for our web applications and backend products
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs
  • Provide effective communication regarding the status of application under test
  • Perform back end (DB) and data validity testing as required
  • Run, debug, analyze and maintain test automation suites
  • Perform integration, functional and regression tests on new functionality and on existing functionality as required
  • Learn new technology and consistently upgrade skills to meet the demands of projects.

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years’ experience working in Software Quality Assurance field with hands-on skill in Agile methodologies
  • Working experience planning and executing various types of tests (functional, regression, compatibility, performance, localization, etc.) for web applications and native IOS and Android apps
  • Solid understanding and experience in manual and/or automated testing of RESTful webservices using Postman or any other tools
  • Proven relational database knowledge and experience – able to understand, create and execute database SQL queries
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • Problem solver with a logical and analytical approach

What would make you stand out:

  • Experience with automating testing for web applications and API using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Nunit, Junit, Maven, RestAssured, RestSharp, and other tools/technologies
  • Able to understand programming languages (Java, C#, HTML, XML, JavaScript)
  • Experience with source control tools, preferably GIT and Azure DevOps
  • Proficient in French language

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science (or related field) or relevant experience
  • SQL certification – an asset
  • ISTQB, ITIL, or any other QA/Programming Certification – an asset
