Summary

The Associate IT Service Manager will work within the IT Service Management team to support the continued success of CREA’s IT and product development team. The position will be responsible to run projects and sprints in support of the IT Service Managers. This role will work with the service management team to uphold quality of the department’s products, prioritize new requests or bugs in existing applications and deliver new products to our internal and external customers.

Function

The Associate IT Service Manager is responsible for supporting the IT Service Management team to monitor, report and deliver CREA’s technology services.

Position Accountabilities:

  • Lead projects to support CREA’s IT department and the improvement of internal processes.
  • Lead sprints within CREA’s Agile Scrum Teams, including the facilitation of meetings and tracking of team progress.
  • Work with CREA’s product management team to review and report on status of projects.
  • Review and monitor health of CREA’s core technology systems, and assist ITSM with analysis of reporting tools.
  • Support the organization in our continued adoption of the Agile software development framework.
  • Contribute to longer term planning for the IT Service Management team and CREA’s IT organization.
  • Work with the ITSM team on preparing and maintaining regular reports on the health of CREA’s applications.
  • Support the ITSM team in the planning and execution of longer term product roadmaps.
  • Communicate with project team members and prepare updates on project status;
  • Draft communications to be sent out to technical contacts and executive officers of real-estate boards regarding system updates.
  • Act as a backup for members of CREA’s IT Service Management team.

Qualifications:

  • University degree (IT, IS, or business administration with IT focus) or equivalent certification or experience;
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail;
  • Knowledge of Agile an asset;
  • Advanced use of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Proficient in written and spoken English; bilingualism an asset;
  • Minimal travel
