The Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) designation provides brokers, owners and managers with advanced business management education, resources, and tools for achieving maximum profitability, productivity, and performance. Delivered in partnership with the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) and the Real Estate Business Institute (REBI), an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), all CRB courses offered by CREA are tailored to Canadian audiences to address our unique Canadian REALTOR® community.
The CRB designation is one of the oldest and most respected designations in the real estate industry. CRB designees are proven leaders and are among the most effective, efficient, and profitable in the industry.
All courses are open to REALTOR® members and support future and current team leaders, owners, supervisors, managers, and brokers.

CRB designation requirements
- Successful completion of four CRB education courses.
- One year (or more) of management experience.
- Verify you are an International REALTOR® Member (IRM), with the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).
- Submit the completed CRB Designation Application with experience electives and management resume.

Here are a list of courses happening in 2026 that can be counted towards your CRB designation.
February 25-26: Recruiting for Success
This course provides managers, owners, and brokers with a framework for attracting and retaining talent for your real estate office or company.
March 11-12: Managing a Multi-generational Business
This course helps participants bridge the generational gaps between Traditionalists, Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Gen Z to build awareness, address conflict, and add value to the workplace.
April 8-9: Creating a Profitable Real Estate Company
This course provides real estate owners with a foundation in financial accounting principles and the skills to perform monthly reporting to analyze their financial position in relation to profitability.
September 15-16: Performance Leadership
This course provides participants with tools to address various leadership challenges, and adapt their approach to different personalities and situations while running a successful and profitable business.
November 17-18: Starting a Real Estate Company
This course provides a foundational blueprint of all the elements involved in opening, managing, and growing a real estate company.
