REALTORS® aren’t home inspectors. However, in most cases, you’ll be with your client the first time they visit their potential home (and often several times after that!).
As a real estate professional, it’s important to familiarize yourself with the basics of home inspection and to know common issues that may arise with different types of dwellings. Much like a mechanic who knows exactly how different makes, models, and years wear over time, REALTORS® can be a great first touchpoint for what homes may align with their client’s lifestyle and appetite for renovations.
