New Resources for REALTORS® to Understand Canada’s Competition Act
Four free informational videos now available on the CREA Learning Hub.

While complying with Canada’s Competition Act may not be the most exciting part of being a REALTOR®, its crucial that you do.
The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) has recently produced four new videos to help REALTOR® members understand how the Competition Act applies to them. Available at no cost via the CREA Learning Hub, these videos are available in both English and French.
The four videos available are:
- Setting Your Prices
- Misleading Advertising
- Doing Business with Competitors
- Collusion and Conspiracy
Every REALTOR®, from the most experienced to our newest members, can benefit from refreshing their obligations under the Competition Act.

Legally inclined? There’s more
The CREA Learning Hub has more content to help you stay compliant.
With courses on topics like Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC), the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, trademarks (including proper use of the REALTOR® and MLS® trademarks), and Canada’s anti-spam legislation (CASL), we’ve curated content that’s specific to what REALTORS® need to know most, including case studies and examples of how different aspects apply to real estate.
The courses referenced in the article above are for information purposes and are not legal advice or a substitute for legal counsel.
