REALTORS® Invited to Join CREA and Learn about Proposed Annual General Meeting (AGM) Motions
Register for CREA’s AGM information session.
To help REALTORS® learn more about the two motions being presented at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in April, the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) is hosting two webinars in February, open to all members.
CREA is currently operating in an environment shaped by inflation, rising costs, and increasing uncertainty—something we know many can relate to.
From federal advocacy and defending the REALTOR® brand, to increased litigation and ongoing investment in technology, most notably REALTOR.ca, CREA is navigating a period of significant change.
For these reasons, CREA is proposing two motions at its AGM:
Cost-of-Living Adjustment
A 2% Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) to its $310 per year member dues beginning in 2027.
Legal Defense Fund
A Legal Defence Fund special assessment of $30 per member in 2026 and 2027.
These motions reflect CREA’s commitment to fiscal responsibility, organizational sustainability, and the REALTOR®-focused goals outlined in our 2026-2028 strategic plan.
To learn more about why these motions are essential to maintaining CREA’s service standards, and why we need your support, join us for one of two webinars—registration is now open.
Webinar dates and times:
- Tuesday, February 24, 2026, 11 a.m. – Noon EST
- Thursday, February 26, 2026, 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. EST
Both sessions will include a formal presentation and an opportunity to ask questions. If you are unable to attend, a recording of the webinar will be available on CREA’s 2026 AGM resources page, which also includes FAQs, and informational videos.
If you have any questions, please contact CREA’s Member Experience Centre at support@CREA.ca.
