Mark Borgares is an experienced executive, board director, and governance advisor specializing in strategy, risk, and value creation. As Principal with Ozone Advisory Group and Founder & CEO of thinc, he advises organizations across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors on governance effectiveness and strategic alignment.
A Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant with ICD.D and GCB.D designations, Mark has chaired and/or served on more than 30 boards spanning financial services, technology, insurance, and investment management. His experience ranges from early-stage ventures to multi-billion-dollar enterprises.
In joining CREA, Mark will support CREA in advancing governance excellence, strengthening strategic alignment, and navigating a rapidly evolving real estate landscape shaped by technology, data, and shifting market dynamics.
